Strawberry Tarte Rustique
How to make
For the dough, just mix all the ingredients together with your hands until it forms a ball. (Adjust with more or less water)
Preheat your oven at 180 degrees C.
Lightly flour some parchment paper, then roll out your dough to loosely form a circle shape. It doesn’t have to be perfect, this is a rustic pie remember ;-)
Sprinkle the almond flour onto the dough.
Slice the strawberries, either in halves or thirds.
Pile the strawberries onto the centre of the dough leaving a 1-inch border around all sides and sprinkle with some fresh thyme leafs. Fold the edges of the dough over to cover the outer edge of the fruit pile. Overlap as needed.
Sprinkle with some whole sugar or coconut sugar if you're a sweet mouth ;-)
Cook in oven for about 30min, ENJOY !
75g coconut oil
2-3 tbsp of water
100g almond flour some fresh thyme leafs (I use lemon thyme) optional : a little bit of whole sugar or coconut sugar on the top
