Super Fresh Green Sauce
How to make
Add all the ingredients to a food processor and blend until roughly mixed.
Taste and add more salt, acidity, herbs or oil if needed.
The sauce is just perfect to help any simple dish into something so flavorful and so tasteful.
I use it when I make homemade green hummus, as a dip for raw crudités, with eggs, or on top of soup or gazpacho.
You can keep it in a jar in the fridge for a few weeks. Just make sure that the oil always recovers the sauce, that's how you'll keep it longer without molding.
1 large handful of mixed fresh herbs; my favourite mix is : parsley, cilantro and mint
Juice from 1 lime
1 tsp maple syrup
1 clove garlic
Lots of olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp capers
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
